The Wein Air Supply Mini-Mate AS150MM generates an intense ionic space charge which substantially repels from the breathing zone of the wearer the charged toxic particles.  These include bacteria viruses, dust, smoke, pollens, dander, mold spores, or anything else that is light enough to float in the air.

According to the expert who peer reviewed the University study, the reduction in physical concentration of the charged toxic particles (from .3 to 3.0 microns) occurs regardless of whether the particle is infective or not. This is because the repelling effect is caused by electrostatic forces from the Air Supply Mini-Mate AS150MM.

A particle may carry the most lethal pathogen known to man, but it will still be subject to this electrostatic field. This is very similar to the electrostatic charge influence effect on particles produced by the N95 series respirator masks.

A.  When your Air Supply Mini-Mate is on, there is a little red light that you can see from the front and top, and you should feel a slight movement of the air around your face. Repairs are handled by Wein Products as well.
